We all have our internal melody – the unique melody that reflects who we are and how we feel. Some may find the entry to their melody easy; some may find it challenging. When we can’t access our melody, it’s like we’re strangers to ourselves. This means we need attunement. Having a psychotherapist who is consistently attuned to you will be the stepping stone to building connections and safety within yourself. This will be the key to arriving at your melody and internal harmony.
I’m a licensed psychotherapist (LH61127805) providing trauma-informed therapy via Telehealth for Washington State residents.
Trained in IFS (level 2) and certified in EMDR, these two modalities are the cornerstones of my treatment.
I approach clients in a relational and direct manner (delivered in a warm and non-judgmental way).
A single episode of a traumatic event that results in having trouble feeling safe, and re-experiencing hypervigilance, avoidance, or fear. The traumatic event could be a car accident, a terrible panic attack, or witnessing something awful happen to someone else.
Relational ruptures, chronic loneliness, neglect, physical or psychological abuse in the developmental phase, or repeated relational trauma in adulthood. Manifestations can look like negative self-concept, having difficulties regulating emotions, as well as sustaining close relationships.
